Hurtigruten ups their game on northern lights holidays

Northern lights holidays to Northern Norway are becoming so popular in the UK, Hurtigruten has had to increase their capacity to meet the demand.

Only two months after launching their winter northern lights packages, the Norwegian coastal cruise liner, Hurtigruten, see that they need charter more flights to meet the high demand.

Northern lights charter to Tromso

Hurtigruten say they are focusing their efforts on the group travel market, and have chartered several more flights from London Gatwick to Tromso this winter.

“We hope these charters will provide agents with the additional availability they need to drive group sales even further. The flights will serve Northern Norway itineraries ensuring customers are above the Arctic Circle for the entire trip to maximise the chance of seeing the northern lights,” Hurtigruten Sales and Marketing Director Kathryn Beadle told Travel Daily UK.
